Freedom Seeker Book Launch

Ok so this post is somewhat delayed however it has always been in the back of my mind as it’s something I really wanted to share with you all! So a couple of months back I was invited to the book launch of the Freedom Seeker by Beth Kempton, I didn’t know much about the book or Beth however just reading the title got me interested! Closer towards the event I received the book in the post and started reading straight away. It came at a great time for me as changes were starting to happen in my personal life that I felt a mixture of emotions about. The book is full of real stories (refreshingly it’s not full of cliches) and tools you can use to help you along the path to becoming a Freedom Seeker.

Time flew by and it was suddenly the night of the launch, I had the lovely Becca joining me for the evening. (www.lotsoflovebex.com) The event was held at Mettricks in Southampton, I have wanted to go here for so long as the venue is so gorgeous and insta worthy! The private party on the top floor was kitted out like it was her own workspace full of personal touches and of course cupcakes and cocktails! The place was filled with inspiring people from the book and members of her friends and family. It was a lovely intimate event. We moved downstairs to listen to some talks by people with stories featured in the book, it was so inspiring and refreshing to hear it from real people expressing both the ups and downs. The reality. She was handing out little gifts at the event including a gorgeous little note pad, a handmade bird from a lovely lady who quit her stressful job to create handmade ceramics and some lovely postcards with positive messages on.

I left the book launch feeling so much less anxious, more positive and calmer about the direction I was working towards. If you haven’t checked out this book yet I strongly recommend you do! It is available on Amazon. She also offers courses which I will be signing up for very soon!
