Why a break could be just what you need

As some of you may know, I have been a lot quieter on social media lately. With my new job starting and life being generally hectic I haven’t found much time to sit down, pause and gather. I recently returned from a lovely holiday in Corfu, sailing around the island and discovering new places, it was exactly what I needed and perfect timing. I occasionally uploaded to Instagram to share some of the gorgeous places we visited, however I tried to experience the moments had have a tech free holiday to just enjoy the sunshine, food and stunning scenery.

Now that we have arrived home, feeling sunned up and inspired to travel more, I feel I have my blogging mojo back. Taking some time to step back and re gather works wonders when life gets hectic and you can’t keep up. Now that I am in a routine with my job I can schedule my time and find more time to do what I love.

Going offline isn’t always easy, it often takes strong will power to step away even for an hour! But once you have done it, you can come back feeling refreshed and ready to begin new adventures! For now I will pop a few photos below from a break away to Corfu! The island is truly beautiful with so many hidden bays and beaches with┬áthe sun always shining, its the perfect holiday location if you fancy a sunshine topup! Looking across to Albania on an early morning sail was breathtaking, with a layer of haze just above the sea, it was a view straight from a postcard! With the weather being so hot I was on the hunt for a drink to cool me down at any bar we came across, to which I have found my new favourite Juice, Peach juice! It was perfect for the hot days to cool down, sit back, and over look the sea (oh and eating your body weight in Ice cream is a must!). On one afternoon we were taking to, what they called, Paradise Bay and they weren’t lying! We anchored up and swam off the boat to the bay to discover a tropical paradise full of wildlife from Lizards to butterflies! They even had hammocks between the trees so you could relax in the shade, in true Greek style!

The whole holiday was beautiful and I would definitely recommend it if you are looking for a sunny escape!
